We have doomed as a Nation

Before you judge me let me explain. Over the past few years, we the Pakistanis have seen worse times. Both Financially & Morally. And due to these things some bad habits have started chain effect.

We live in a world where Bullet & Guns are easier to purchase than feeding the mouth of family members. We have seen that the once honorable 16 years of education, now amounts to next to nothing.

The purpose of this article is not to rant about things but rather reflect on them.

Following are the few examples of our failure as a nation.

1. Nowadays it’s quite common to proxy for some other colleagues/class fellow.
2. Lying is now common and considered to cool that I am a good fool maker.
3. Shortcuts are applied as a Status symbol that I can do a better judgar
4. Uber/Indriver captains casually ask passengers to cancel rides from company and let them have all the fare.
5. Corruption is at the heart of all our decisions.
6. We have opinions/solutions about everything. Especially for the things we have no experience in or never have gone through with.

I can go on and on but there is not point in useless blabbering.

We were once a nation of Ethics. Urdu as a language was considered the most eloquent of a language. We had manners from Kingdom courts to Food tables. We were not only humble in our speech but very sincere in our words.

Our people may or may not be educated in academics but we were always educated in ethics. The teachers were considered the nation builders. Whereas the students were looked respectfully. Now both of these designations are considered casual.

The fact of the matter is we once were more human and closer to the commandments of Allah. Now we are next to beasts disguised as humans.

Back in the day when people of Middle East were told that Pakistan has a city where a building consists of more than 20+ floors. Natives of that land used to look us in wonder. Our cities were clean. Our interactions were clean. Our hearts were pure. But now …..

We literally have failed as a nation.
